Gut feeling - We HAVE to win these 4 games, if not we would be down & out.
IF it happened 2nd place and Champions League 1999 would not be bad would it?
Good luck to Blackburn v Arse today! A draw would be fine start to there 7 game run-in!

MANCHESTER UNITED
18th NEWCASTLE (H)
On Newcastle's current form, a Man Utd win is on the cards. Also hoping NUFC go down as
Shearer becomes available.
27th CRYSTAL PALACE (A)
Palace have not won a game at home all season....(I think). Problem is United usually have
major problems against sides like these. United to win but just.
MAY
4th LEEDS (H)
Toughest game of the 4 against the sheeps. Tension will be sky high as United have to win
and Leeds would love to see anyone else win but United. A slender win but chances are i t will
be a draw.
10th BARNSLEY (A)
have improved immensely since we hit them for 7. Look a decent team but will need a lot to
overcome United. 3 points in the bag again.
Looking at the fixtures one would dare to say that United should get at least 10 points from their remaining games. Anything else would be someone smiling on Arsenal for this season. But lets hope the only cup that Arsenal get their hands on is the FA Cup and leave the league in our good hands.
ARSENAL
13th BLACKBURN (A)
A good chance for us as Blackburn look good at home. At best a draw for Arsenal.
18th WIMBLEDON (H)
the ex-crazy gang did us a favour last season by beating Newcastle and handing us the
title, lets hope that this carries on and do it again. No points from this for Arsenal.
25th BARNSLEY (A)
As I said earlier that Barnsley have improved by leaps and bounds. Took the ref for Liverpool
to beat them. A draw for Arsenal.
29th DERBY (H)
Tired aging legs but Arsenal will just sneak a win and revive their flagging title hopes for another few days.
MAY
3rd EVERTON (H)
Too many games and too little time. Arsenal will huff and puff but the Everton fragile defence will hold out for Big Dunc to head home and score the winner in the last minute....NOT. Arsenal would more likely rip Evertton for a 3-1 scoreline.
6th LIVERPOOL (A)
Straightforward win for Liverpool. Arsenal to lose by 2 goals or more and put a sad end to their
title hopes. Better put the Incey poster up again for this game :)
10th ASTON VILLA (A)
Oh no not another game cries Arsene Wenger. Bosnich to save everything and Yorke to score again and again. A painful and slow game just the way George Graham would have l iked.
Well looks like at the maximum Arsenal can only hope for 10 points which means..........
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS.....~~~~~~~~~~ to become only the 4th team this century to become
champions 3 times running.

Giggs and Johnsen face title KO
By Stuart Mathieson
MANCHESTER United's injury troubled season has torn another hole in
the Reds' four-match title finale.
Defender Ronny Johnsen looks almost certain to have ended his season a
month prematurely and Ryan Giggs is battling to save his campaign.
Reds' goalscorer Johnsen was the victim of a dreadful tackle by
Liverpool's Micahel Owen in the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford which saw England's
teenage striker sent off for a second bookable offence.
The X-rated foul on the Norwegian was a red card crime in itself and Johnsen
was sent to hospital immediately to discover the full extent of
ankle ligament damage.
``It was a terrible tackle,'' said United manager Alex Ferguson.
``Owen is a terrific player and he doesn't need to do that.
``It's not a break but he's damaged ligaments. At this time of the
year it could be the end of the season for Ronny.''
Giggs only returned from an eight-match absence with a hamstring
injury last Monday at Blackburn Rovers but was soon in trouble.
The Welshman tried to run the problem off but was substituted after
38 minutes.
``It's not a tear. He felt it tightening and a tweak,'' says Fergie.
United extended their championship lead over Arsenal by just a
single point with the 1-1 draw against the third-placed Merseysiders before the Gunners
embarked on their critical two-match Easter holiday programme today at
Highbury against Newcastle.
The Londoners stood this morning with four games in hand on United
and seven points to make up.
``Arsenal can only throw away the title now,'' admitted the United manager.
``They are firmly in the driving seat all we can do is hope they drop points.''

Subject: LIST: Nevland on loan
Youngster Erik Nevland will be on-loan to his former norwegian club
Viking from mid-april til 1. July.
He has been nowhere near a regular firstteam spot for United, and is eager to
get first team football ahead of the Europen U23 Championship this
summer.
Viking will cover all expenses, and Alex Ferguson sees the loan as a
part of Nevland's development as a player.

Barry's absolutely right. We can't afford to drop a single point from now
on. It's got to be 12 out of 12. Meanwhile, the Arse must drop 5 of the
21 points still available to them. Going on form over the past few weeks,
this does not look likely, but strange things can happen in football.
For example, who'd have thought we could have lost an 11-point lead? Ouch.
If Arse drop 2 or 3 points on Monday night, who knows what effect this
might have on their (currently) sky-high confidence? And if the
encouraging news about Giggs is true, he could be back for the Toons.
Yes, I'm starting to believe we really can still win it. The more I
waffle on and on like this, the more confident I'm getting. It's very
therapeutic. Try it. Just keep on saying over and over again that we
still have a good chance to win it ...

United target issues warning to PSV
Sunday, April 12, 1998
Unsettled PSV Eindhoven defender Jaap Stam is prepared to go to a tribunal
to make sure of clinching a dream move to Manchester United.
PSV want £15million for the 25-year-old Dutch international, who is
contracted to them until 2003, but Stam is reportedly confident that a
£10million transfer will be reached before the World Cup finals.
'I will break away and go to a Dutch tribunal if PSV don't agree terms with
United,' he told the News of the World. 'I want to go to the World Cup with
a Manchester United shirt and contract in my bag.'
Stam, who has also been linked with Rangers and Liverpool, believes a
tribunal would find in his favour, as several Dutch players, including Ajax
brothers Frank and Ronald de Boer, have won their cases there.
'My future is very bright. I'm convinced that I'll be a United player in the
new season,' he adds.
PSV have already rejected a £10million from United, but further talks are
planned.
'I know PSV Eindhoven are meeting United again early this week,' he says.
'I've no worries and no doubts that there are any stumbling blocks to the
transfer going through.'
